CATIE is Canada’s trusted resource for evidence-based information about HIV and Hepatitis C prevention, testing, care, treatment, and support. As a leading organization in this field, CATIE plays a crucial role in disseminating accurate and up-to-date information to healthcare providers, community organizations, and individuals affected by these conditions.
In collaboration with the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT), I developed two key resources aimed at raising awareness about Hepatitis C. These resources were designed to provide comprehensive information on Hepatitis C, covering aspects such as prevention, testing, care, and treatment options.
The goal of this partnership was to enhance public knowledge and understanding of Hepatitis C, promoting early detection and effective management. By combining CATIE’s expertise with ACT’s community outreach capabilities, these resources serve as valuable tools in the ongoing effort to support those affected by Hepatitis C and to reduce its prevalence in Canada.
Through this initiative, we aimed to empower individuals with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes and improved quality of life for those living with Hepatitis C.
