ACT: A Year in Focus

AIDS Committee of Toronto

Creating and designing the annual report for the AIDS Committee of Toronto was one of my first major design projects with a well-known non-profit organization. This project was especially meaningful to me because, after a few months of volunteering and participating in their leadership program, I got to know their dedicated team and mission deeply.

The project involved designing a visually engaging and informative annual report that communicated the organization’s achievements, financials, and future goals. Key features included compelling imagery, bold typography, and personal stories to make the content accessible and impactful. I ensured the layout was clean and modern to enhance readability and engagement.

Throughout the process, I collaborated closely with the team, incorporating their feedback to ensure the final product met their expectations. The completed report was well-received and served as a valuable tool for raising awareness and support.

This project was a significant learning experience, teaching me the importance of empathy and storytelling in design. It allowed me to refine my skills and create more effective designs for future clients, marking a milestone in my career.and create more effective designs and concepts with future clients.
